Actors Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter are the duo to beat in the 2012 run of Dancing On Ice.
The third show of the series saw all 13 remaining contestants take to the ice and the judges could not separate either of the favourites. Both Matthew and Jorgie received overall judges scores of 21.5 – the highest on the night and of the series so far.
Emmerdale actor Matthew remains the bookmakers favourite at a best price of 2.2 (bet365) while Hollyoaks actress Jorgie can be backed at slightly longer odds of 2.75 (Ladbrokes).
Television presenter Mark Rhodes became the third contestant to leave the show after the judges voted to save former Dallas actress Charlene Tilton in the skate-off. Mark had struggled but did not receive the worst score of the night – that dubious honour went to Corey Feldman.
Here is how the other 10 contestant figure in the Dancing On Ice betting:
Reality television personality Chico has seen his odds shorten a little since last week after receiving a judges score of 18.0. At the moment, he looks top in the “best of the rest” betting behind Matthew and Jorgie.
Best Odds: 8.5 (bet365)
Freerunner Sebastien remains a strong contender and his odds have lengthened by a single point since last week. Like Chico, he also received a score of 18.0 from the judges.
Best Odds: 11.0 (Coral)
Former Brookside actress Jennifer performed with an injury last night and was visibly in pain. However, she was the third contestant to earn a score of 18.0 from the judges but her odds have drifted since last week.
Best Odds: 17.0 (bet365)
Professional skier Chemmy was a disappointment with a score of just 10.5 – on a par with the eliminated Mark Rhodes. She appears to be going backwards in terms of progress but is still middling in the betting odds, such is the lack of real quality from the rest of the contestants.
Best Odds: 26.0 (Coral)
Coronation Street actor Andy earned a respectable score of 14.0 but plenty of other contestant scored higher – including Charlene who needed to beat Mark in the skate-off to remain in the show. Bottom two material when Corrie fans get fed up of him.
Best Odds: 51.0 (Ladbrokes)
Sam is proving to be a decent enough skater, unlike his on-screen partner Mark, but he doesn’t appear to have much support in the betting. Should remain in the show for a few weeks yet.
Best Odds: 51.0 (Paddy Power)
Singer Heidi gave a much better performance than in week one but she is still some way behind the stronger skaters in the competition. Like Sam, she should be safe for a few more weeks.
Best Odds: 51.0 (Bet Victor)
Not the worst score of the night but has little support from the voting public. It would not be a shock if she finds herself in the skate-off yet again next week needing the judges votes to keep her in.
Best Odds: 126.0 (bet365)
Slimming expert Rosemary appears to be on borrowed time. She received a judges score of 10.5 – the same as Chemmy and the eliminated Mark. Bottom two material – possibly in a skate-off against Charlene next week.
Best Odds: 151.0 (Paddy Power)
Hollywood actor Corey received the worst score of the night by some distance – squeezing an 8.0 from the judges. However, he appears to have some public support and could see off a few more contestants yet.
Best Odds: 201.0 (Paddy Power)
