Coral
Coral is a well known bookmaker brand in Great Britain, operating since 1926. It merged with the popular European bookmaker Eurobet UK to form Coral Eurobet in 1999 and in 2005 was acquired by Gala, a major UK gaming group.
The company is now known as Gala Coral and is one of Europe’s top betting and gaming companies with over 1,700 betting shops in the UK (as Coral), employing 11,000 people and hundreds in Italy using the Eurobet name.
At the 2006 UK Gambling Awards, Coral was named “Bookmaker of the Year”.
Betting Coverage
Being a UK-based bookmaker, Coral focuses heavily on UK and Irish horse racing, football and greyhound markets. However, its alignment with Eurobet also means other markets are covered substantially too which is not always the case with other UK bookmakers.
Coral have introduced their “Green Tick” revolution for horse racing betting which will give customers permanently enhanced value on every race, at every course, on every day of every year.
What Coral have done is separate their Win and Each Way prices and as a result can offer significantly better odds on both. They are not forced to factor in a horse’s chance of placing into the “on the nose” prices which means customers can enjoy better Win Only odds as well as a more competitive Place Only market.
All Coral racecards will feature the distinctive Green Ticks alongside the traditional Win/Each Way markets around 15 minutes before the start of each race.
Free Bets
New customers can receive a free bet worth up to £30.
Simply deposit a minimum of £5 and place your first bet to receive a free bet of the same value up to a maximum of £30.
Coral also offer a number of money back offers and other specials, including “Penalty Payback” where losing bets on televised football matches are refunded if the last goal scored is a penalty.
Snooker fans may be interested in the “147 Tournament Special” where backing a player to win the UK Championships will be settled as a winner if they score a 147.
